Baby News- Playing catch up (33-38 weeks)

So I was in the groove of updating and then I lost the groove....  I just realized I haven't posted baby update since 32 weeks so here are some updates.

Belly continues to grow.....

36 weeks

37 weeks

38 weeks

We got to take one more look at our little lady during my 36week ultrasound.  And I totally asked to make sure that it was indeed still a girl...it is :)

We can't wait to meet her!!

I have been in full nesting mode getting ready for her arrival.  Her corner in our room is ready to go

The car seat is in the car, and after today my bag will be packed.  I have a dr's appt tomorrow. Hoping for some progress.  I am feeling okay.  It's getting tougher to move around and I am done and would like my body back. I enjoy the baby movement, but it is very limited these days since she is just about out of room.  Can't wait to snuggle her on the outside...and to decide on a name... we still haven't decided!!

24 weeks

Only 16 weeks to go.  Time, please slow down.

I had my monthly ultrasound this morning and got to get a good peek at our little girl.  She looked great.  It was confirmed again, that it's a girl. Her weight is currently estimated at 1lb 13oz..yikes!  She played a little peek-a-boo with us, as she was hiding behind the placenta.  A little peek was all this Mama needed :)

20 weeks 2 Days- Anatomy Ultrasound

Had my 20 week anatomy scan this morning. It's still a girl!! Whoo hooo! I needed that reassurance!  There was just a tiny piece of me that didn't believe it the first time, and I was only 16 weeks along, so it's still a little early in the gender game.  But the tech reassured me and showed me the proof this time.

Brian was able to attend this ultrasound which was great.  We got some profile shots, the "It's a girl" shot and some feet.  We did get to see every little part of Baby Girl.  Everything looked great.  The doctor still needs to analyze the pictures.  Baby Girl was not cooperating totally, so there is a chance I might need to go back for better pictures.   The tech tried to do 3D image but Baby Girl was too close to the placenta to get a good picture, so maybe next time. Very excited that I get to see her again at 24, 28, 32 and 36 weeks.  With the boys, the last scans of them were at 20 weeks.

I am feeling pretty good. Enjoying feeling Baby Girl (we are waiting until she is born to share the name!) moving around constantly.  Even in the middle of the night it's enjoyable!  I did something to my ankle on Friday...and by something I think I rolled it while heading to John's Baseball practice after work in heals. It bothered me all weekend and I can't get anything on but flip flops as the ankle is pretty swollen.  Hopefully a few more days and we are back to normal. I am use to swollen feet in my pregnancies, but not this bad (and painful).

Here are some of the shots we got today:

And Then There Were Five

Johnny's picture that he drew in his Easter card shows it best.
The new picture of our family.

I found out the day after Christmas (2012) that we were expecting another miracle.   Brian and I cautiously kept the news to ourselves for a little while.  Once things progressed further on, we started to tell more and more family and friends.

At my first ultrasound on January 16, 2013 we found out I was 6 weeks 4 days along. With a due date of September 7th 2013.  We couldn't hear the heartbeat at this time, but we would see it ...139 bpm!

My next ultrasound was at 8 weeks 6 days and we could see the little bean growing bigger and bigger and even got to hear the heartbeat of 176

Since I am considered High Risk because of a hereditary blood clotting disorder I get to go for monthly ultrasounds to see the little one.  They are my favorite visits.

Here is our little one at 12 weeks 2 days.  You can see the profile.  The baby was doing flips the whole time with his/her legs crossed, so we couldn't even get a guess as to what he/she is for sure.

Cute little profile.

I am so very excited to embark on this journey again. Feeling blessed and very grateful.  My due date is September 7th, but the doctor says they will be inducing me a week early due to the blood clotting disorder.
