Some Randomness

I often find a quote or saying that I like and read it and move on.  Lately I have been collecting and saving the quotes and/or sayings so that I can look over them more then one time.  Sometimes the words help me get through a rough day, or a tough time. Sometimes they put things into perspective, make me smile, bring me joy.  I figured what better way to capture them then to include them on my blog- somewhere I can have access to them at all times.   What an amazing St. Patrick's weekend.  We couldn't of asked for a better weekend (weather and event wise).  I can't wait to upload the pictures to share.  Full of green hair, parades, Irish car bombs, and corned beef and cabbage!

Cub Scouts Blue and Gold Dinner

We attended our first Blue and Gold Dinner last month.  

This is something I knew nothing about.  It's the awards ceremony for Cub Scouts.  

Each Cub Scout group performed a few skits in front of the audience.  Everyone enjoyed a pot luck dinner. 

After the dinner and skits, the kids are awarded their patches for the year, for the duties they accomplished.  John had a good time and was really excited about his new patches.  Great Job buddy!! xoxo
