I had some time two weeks ago to snap Allison's 6 month baby pictures. She is very active so wasn't sitting still very long. But with the help and distraction of her older brothers we ended up capturing some good shots.

Baby News- Playing catch up (33-38 weeks)
So I was in the groove of updating and then I lost the groove.... I just realized I haven't posted baby update since 32 weeks so here are some updates.
Belly continues to grow.....
36 weeks
37 weeks
38 weeks
We got to take one more look at our little lady during my 36week ultrasound. And I totally asked to make sure that it was indeed still a girl...it is :)
We can't wait to meet her!!
I have been in full nesting mode getting ready for her arrival. Her corner in our room is ready to go
The car seat is in the car, and after today my bag will be packed. I have a dr's appt tomorrow. Hoping for some progress. I am feeling okay. It's getting tougher to move around and I am done and would like my body back. I enjoy the baby movement, but it is very limited these days since she is just about out of room. Can't wait to snuggle her on the outside...and to decide on a name... we still haven't decided!!

28 Weeks
Officially entered my 3rd trimester.
Baby girl is very active, and growing very well. We had our monthly ultra sound on Monday and she looks to be measuring about 3lbs 7oz (78% tile). I can't believe I have 2.5 months to go and she is already that big. She was hiding behind the placenta again, but she peeked out for a quick picture. It's amazing how much you can see with the ultrasound these days. I had the tech check again, and she is still a she :)
Pretty precious if I do say so myself.

24 weeks
Only 16 weeks to go. Time, please slow down.
I had my monthly ultrasound this morning and got to get a good peek at our little girl. She looked great. It was confirmed again, that it's a girl. Her weight is currently estimated at 1lb 13oz..yikes! She played a little peek-a-boo with us, as she was hiding behind the placenta. A little peek was all this Mama needed :)

20 weeks 2 Days- Anatomy Ultrasound
Had my 20 week anatomy scan this morning. It's still a girl!! Whoo hooo! I needed that reassurance! There was just a tiny piece of me that didn't believe it the first time, and I was only 16 weeks along, so it's still a little early in the gender game. But the tech reassured me and showed me the proof this time.
Brian was able to attend this ultrasound which was great. We got some profile shots, the "It's a girl" shot and some feet. We did get to see every little part of Baby Girl. Everything looked great. The doctor still needs to analyze the pictures. Baby Girl was not cooperating totally, so there is a chance I might need to go back for better pictures. The tech tried to do 3D image but Baby Girl was too close to the placenta to get a good picture, so maybe next time. Very excited that I get to see her again at 24, 28, 32 and 36 weeks. With the boys, the last scans of them were at 20 weeks.
I am feeling pretty good. Enjoying feeling Baby Girl (we are waiting until she is born to share the name!) moving around constantly. Even in the middle of the night it's enjoyable! I did something to my ankle on Friday...and by something I think I rolled it while heading to John's Baseball practice after work in heals. It bothered me all weekend and I can't get anything on but flip flops as the ankle is pretty swollen. Hopefully a few more days and we are back to normal. I am use to swollen feet in my pregnancies, but not this bad (and painful).
Here are some of the shots we got today:

20 Weeks ..... AKA "Half Way"
Today marks the half way point in my pregnancy. It's amazing how fast it's going. Time could slow down a little bit! Feeling good, besides the swollen feet/ankles, I don't have any complaints. The boys felt the kicks for the first time last night. I wish I could of captured a picture of Shane's expression. It melted my heart seeing his eyes get so wide with delight. Just saying over and over " Momma I felt a kick, I felt her kick". It was truly a magical moment. John got to feel it as well. And although he was excited, he didn't "show" it.
A little snap shot of our week: enjoying park days as the weather is finally starting to warm up, some skate park fun, relaxing, learning new techniques in Hapkido (both boys earned their second stripe this week), 20w shot, baseball practice.
Looking forward to the week ahead: anatomy ultra sound on Monday and a few baseball and soccer games!!

19 weeks
Here we are at 19 weeks. Felt baby's first kicks this week. It is the greatest feeling and I stop everything I'm doing to enjoy every second of it. Baby is growing bigger and stronger. A little over a week to go before my 20w Anatomy ultrasound.

My Little One- 16 weeks 2 days
On Monday March 25th I had my monthly ultrasound (16 weeks 2 days). Everything looked great. Baby is measuring perfectly and is very active. The heartbeat was 155. The tech was able to determine gender and Brian and I found out that we are expecting a baby girl. We are very excited. Actually, it took my breathe away when the tech first told me. Excited is probably an understatement. Bring on the pink!
We told the boys when I got home from work and Shane was jumping up and down saying "I am going to have a baby sister, I am going to have a baby sister, I am going to have a baby sister" It was very cute!

14 week 3 day Appointment
Had an OB appointment on March 12th and it went well. Baby was very uncooperative and kept flipping while we were trying to get heartbeat. We could hear 2 beats then a kick (swoosh) repeat about six times. Dr couldn't believe how active. Said this one will give us a run for our money. Finally the dr pinned baby between uterus and Doppler and we got a good 6 secs of HB and then baby flipped. Very active! I have been having some low abdominal pain and the Dr confirmed pain I'm feeling is round ligament pain of uterus stretching and totally normal. Next appointment is with specialists in 2weeks. Hopefully I'll find out what this little monkey is!
I received the doppler I rented in the mail and was able to get a hb at night with the boys.

And Then There Were Five
Johnny's picture that he drew in his Easter card shows it best.
The new picture of our family.
I found out the day after Christmas (2012) that we were expecting another miracle. Brian and I cautiously kept the news to ourselves for a little while. Once things progressed further on, we started to tell more and more family and friends.
At my first ultrasound on January 16, 2013 we found out I was 6 weeks 4 days along. With a due date of September 7th 2013. We couldn't hear the heartbeat at this time, but we would see it ...139 bpm!
My next ultrasound was at 8 weeks 6 days and we could see the little bean growing bigger and bigger and even got to hear the heartbeat of 176
Since I am considered High Risk because of a hereditary blood clotting disorder I get to go for monthly ultrasounds to see the little one. They are my favorite visits.
Here is our little one at 12 weeks 2 days. You can see the profile. The baby was doing flips the whole time with his/her legs crossed, so we couldn't even get a guess as to what he/she is for sure.
Cute little profile.
I am so very excited to embark on this journey again. Feeling blessed and very grateful. My due date is September 7th, but the doctor says they will be inducing me a week early due to the blood clotting disorder.
