Baby is coming sooner rather then later

So I went for a sizing ultra sound on Wednesday because I am measuring a bit big. The tech didn't tell me much so hopefully I will find out more when I go to my dr on 1/2/08. There are so many different dates that are in the picture, I don't know what will happen (My due dates range from 1/11, 1/16, 1/21 and 1/27) . 1/11 goes off my last missed period date, 1/16 is the date that Image Care Center (the ultra sound place) is using because that is what my date was from my first trimester scan-- which is suppose to be the most accurate, 1/21 is the date I am using off of date of conception, and 1/27 is the date my dr's office is using because they did an internal u/s at my first appointment and said I was a little small. All these dates are confusing. The three I am working with now 1/16, 1/21 and 1/27 put me at 37 weeks, 36 weeks, and 35 weeks. On the majority of the scans the baby was measuring in the high 38 week range. I wish it would of given me lbs. Maybe once I go to the dr they will have that information (even though its + or - a LB). I guess they did all this because if the baby is so big they might induce me early. So we shall see. I have no idea what will happen. Keep ya posted ;) I really don't want to miss John's birthday party! So hopefully we can work around that!

Christmas 2007

We had a very nice christmas. John's gift to mommy and daddy was sleeping until 8:50am. I was so anxious I couldn't sleep tho- Brian had no problems :) . Once John woke up and came out to the living room he saw that Santa (Ho-Ho) came. It was too cute watching the reactions on his face all day as he opened something new, or played with a new toy. He had a great day. My mom (Mimi) came over shortly after we were done opening our gifts, and they opened their gifts together, and then My dad (Opa) came and surprised John with his gift- the look on his face was priceless, then Brian's mom (Grandma) and Tom came over and John spent some time opening gifts with them.

After everyone left, the three of us watched a movie and fell asleep, it was nice and relaxing.

John has found time to play with everything over and over again. He goes around playing with everything, it is too cute! He got a new backpack from Mimi, and he insisted on wearing it all night long, I finally hid it so he could eat dinner with us in his chair :)

Christmas Eve 2007

On Christmas Eve we headed over to Ginny's house to celebrate. It was nice watching John and Keira interact and open gifts. It adds a whole new element to the holidays!

Big Boy Haircut and Listening to the "baby"

John had another big boy haircut. He sat ever so still in the barber chair, with the most serious look on his face. He knew if he was good he would be rewarded with a pop (lollipop) or a pretzel rod. He did real well, here are some shots tonight sporting his new haircut.







Apparently if you have a belly, then you have a "baby" in that belly :) Every few night we take out the baby heart monitor and listen to mommy's belly (and then Johnny's belly) well now John thinks anything that goes around his neck is also a baby detector. He had on his halloween necklace today and came over to me and lifted up my shirt saying "baby", so he put the medallion on my belly and listened to the baby. Then he walked away and this is how I found him. He cracks me up!!

Little Princess Clara

Jessie and Clara stopped in the beginning of the week to do some computer stuff. Clara had fun playing with John's toys. John on the other hand couldn't be bothered.

Dr. John

John loves listening to the baby. He likes to take the baby sounds monitor and listen to the baby. He is always begging to do this, he goes over to the drawer I keep it in and says "baby". I got a few pictures of Dr. John listening to whats going on in mommy's tummy.

Decorating the Tree

Today we decorated the tree. John was a big help and liked to place the ornaments onto the tree for mommy. He has been really good about staying away and leaving the ornaments on too. Lets hope that keeps up! Here are a few pictures of us decorating the tree.

Picking out the PERFECT tree 2007

We went and cut down our tree on Saturday. It wasn't too cold, so that was nice. John liked wandering through the tree fields and hunting for the perfect tree for us. We found one we all liked (I think John liked them ALL ;) ) and brought it home. Here are some pictures of our xmas tree huting excursion.
