Spring Break Night Away

We were able to sneak in a night away during spring break to the Grand Cascades Lodge at Crystal Springs.  They had a lot of fun things planned for the kids during spring break week, but the pool alone was the biggest hit. Brian was able to come up for a few hours since it wasn't that 

far from home.

I do take pictures of the boys on occasion when they let me.  They aren't very easy to capture these days and most of the time when they are at home they are hanging out in their underpants and they are a little too big to post those (I think they secretly know that keeps them off social media/blog so they continue to do it)!

End of Swim Lessons for this Year

Last week was the last week for swim lessons this year. John was in Level 1 swim and successfully tested out on Thursday. He received a certificate and a Red Cross card that he passed Level 1 swimming.

Mimi stopped by to see John test out of this level, but they were a little slow at getting his class started, so she had to head back to work. Thanks for thinking of us tho Mimi!







He had a great class that day, followed by a scavenger hunt with the kids and lifeguards, the awards ceremony and then a BBQ. John didn't want to miss any of the action at the ceremony and sat on Miss. Jill's lap the whole time.


We are so proud :)

Friends with benefits

These days my idea of friends with benefits, is a friend with a good pool. :)

Today was a hot one. Really hot. It was nice to spend a nice hot summer day, relaxing poolside. We had a blast at Jessie's Nanny's pool. The kids had alot of fun playing in the pool house, swimming, snacking, and munching on pizza. It was nice to get together and chat with all the ladies. Thanks for inviting us to swim Jessie.
