Summer Fun!

Well I was able to take John swimming yesterday, Finally!!! We went up to my old neighbors pool. As soon as we got into the water it started to rain. So we only got a little wet, but John enjoyed it, so we will definitly be going back soon!

6 month stats

So we went to the Dr yesterday for John's 6 month Well Baby visit. He is 20lbs 12oz and 29inches, so that is 95% in weight and over the charts in height (average size of a 10 month old). Doctor says he looks real well and to keep doing what I am doing. He said it is up to me still with the solids. He did give us a script for vitamins with floride so we have to bring that to the pharmacy. He is real close to crawling.. its so cute. As much as I want him to, I know it will be a whole new adventure when he is on the move. So I am content with his leap froggin for now. :)

Happy 6 months John

Guess who is 6 months today??? Happy 1/2 Birthday to John!! I can't believe its been six months, thats just amazing. He is getting so big. We have his 6 month appointment tomorrow, so I will post the stats then. Brian thinks he is about 21lbs 10oz, so we will see. Funny thing is he is typically right, give or take an oz. Last appt Brian's guess was right on..pretty scary! Im not looking forward to the shots :( Im sure John's not either!

Ok, well I better get to work.

Wow its hot!

It is so hot in NJ, actually I think it is hot everywhere!!! it is 96 right now, but with the heat index it feels like 100. There is NO breeze, just dead air..UGH. This is the reason I could never move to Florida, it is just too damn hot. I can't stand the heat, it makes me miserable. I much rather be cold and could put layers on.

ok enough about how sucky the weather is right now!!

John started getting on his hands and knees yesterday. I attemped to take many pictures and video's but as soon as I wipped out the camera he went down. And I got home from work today, and he was doing it again, and the batteries where dead :( I am determined to get a picture of it though! It is so adorable!!!!

Bath Time!

We got John a new bathseat, and he just really enjoy's being able to sit up and play in the bath. He has a ball!!

Yummy Peaches!

Well we have recently discovered that John just loves peaches!!! He is doing real good with his mesh feeder, so we can cut up fresh peaches and put them right in there and he just loves it!! Its so cute watching him chomp on them...

Well Brian and I took John to the park on Friday 7/7/06 after work. It was such a beautiful day. It seemed like he had a good time too!! We didn't stay too long, but it was great seeing his reaction. He couldn't keep his eyes off of his shadow. It was adorable! Then we got some pictures of John with Daddy on the new Harley. (you can select them to make them bigger)

HAPPY 27th BIRTHDAY TO ONE OF MY BEST FRIEND SUZY!!!! I really hope you are enjoying your day!!! MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!

I can't believe it is July already...where does the time go? Well the 4th of July weekend went fast, doesn't it always. Now, im back to work, and missing my boy oh so much!!!

Well I had (still have) kidney stones a few weeks back, and when I went in for that they did a bunch of bloodwork and it looks like I have a highly overactive Thyroid. FUN! So I am waiting for the dr's office to send me some scripts, I have to go for a Thyroid ultra sound, and a nuclear scan, as well as see an Endr..blah blah.blah ist... whatever they are called. The strange thing is I feel fine, the only thing that is really different is that I can eat and eat and eat and never get too full... (which I kinda like..lol) so we will see what happens with that. I hope nothing too drastic like huge weight gain... im not on board for that!

Brian has been trying to enjoy what little bit of sun we have. It has been raining alot in Jersey!! but when its not, he tries to get out on his Harley! I haven't been on in so long. Maybe one day I will (it will require him to buy a new seat for the bike...that fits 2).

John is Mr. Personality now. It is so cute watching him grow and explore new things. He is just talking up a storm. He is eating a new veggie and some cereal each night, and seems to enjoy that! Now if he would just sleep through the night we would be all set :D

4th of July weekend

Well its the 4th of July weekend. Its been really enjoyable. I have friday-tuesday off :) and Brian has Saturday-Tuesday off... we are getting some stuff done around the house, and spending quality time as a family. Its been really nice! Brian is currently working on putting the vents in for the central air!! that couldnt come at a better time. It has been really hot here lately. So we have been spending alot of time in the Master Bedroom with the window a/c unit.

On Saturday we went to visit The Gowers (Julie, Troy and Trey) she is my college roomate from ESU. Its always great spending time with them! Trey just turned a year old and he is so active and so adorable!! I will post a pic when I download them onto the computer. We only get to see them about 2 times a year because we live about 2 hours away from each other. Julie and I and the boys might try to go to The Crossings in Tannersville in August..that will be nice. I can always enjoy a shopping trip!
