Allison 1 year Stats

We had Allie's well baby appt yesterday.  Everything looked great.  She is right on her curve 97% for weight and 99% for height. 25lbd 5oz and 32.5 inches

Boys first year stats for comparison-

John 23lbs 4oz 32in

Shane 26lbs 6oz 32in

Allie 25lbs 5oz 32 1/2in

She was walking all around the exam room ripping things apart, opening cabinets and sliding chairs across the floor.  Two vaccinations and check up and we were out the door.

Still no teeth but she eats most of everything we do now.  Loves playing, reading and spending time ouside.  Her true colors are starting to shine through as she gets very mad when she doesn't get her way and she makes it very clear.  I think we will have another biter on our hands and she already lashes out and gum bites when she is mad.  Those are really going to hurt when there are little razors in there.  

Allison has such a sweet side too.  She loves to give kisses or give you her head when you ask for a kiss. Gives hugs on comand too.  She loves to feed her baby and take rides through the house in her car.  Her favorite you these days is her animal bowling set.  She loves unzipping the bag and taking all the animals out and helping mommy make the animal sounds.  She is very find of kitty's and cows.  

This first year has flown by.  I'm so excited for this stage with our little lady. 

August 2014 Review in pictures

Allison's first visit to urgent care.  High fever and lack of eating hours before leaving for our family vacation to NC.  Which we later discovered it was hand foot and mouth :(. Babys first sickness.  The beginning of the trip was rough.  Probably one of the worst days of my parenting career.  She was miserable and there wasn't much I could do.  She wouldn't eat and was very crabby.  Luckily 2 days into the trip things started getting a little better and we were able to enjoy the rest of the week.

Our trip was the first week of August.  The rest of the month we enjoyed a visit to the sunflower fields, football practices and pep rally, playing at the park, summer camp, swimming and enjoying the end of summer!
