Gearing up for some FOOTBALL

I've got some Kittatinny Cougars in the house!

Not sure Momma is ready for this, but ready or not they are determined to play football.  

Kinda cool that both mommy and daddy were Kittatinny Cougars as well.

Month 11

How can it be.  11 whole months with this little lady.  I am one lucky Mommy!!

She is on the go go go now!  Allison loves walking, playing with her brothers, reading books with Mimi, snuggling daddy and sitting on Mommy's hip.  She loves to point you in the direction she wants to go at all times, enjoys when we go wake the boys in the morning and pouncing on them until they wake up, insists on daddy holding her as soon as he gets home from work (and does not care that he is covered in mud and sweat) and will grunt and squawk until he picks her up. She is starting to hate being in the stroller for longer than 5 mins if it is not moving, but loves the swing at the park and giggles with excitement.  She will crawl or walk over to complete strangers and expect them to entertain or hold her, she loves to stare at random people in the stores when we are out and about and make it very uncomfortable like I have to say something to them.  Allison loves emptying any container she can find whether it be one of the many the laundry baskets, the recycling bin the dvd basket, her basket of toys.  Allie loves to climb.... this just started and needs to stop already!  She still loves nursing and we have finally got her to take a bottle a day...did I say finally! We are still enjoying two naps a day but the second nap she really makes us work for it. Allison loves food and hates missing meals.  She likes all finger food now and prefers that over baby food.  She loves her binkies and taking naps with her daddy. She is such a love and makes all of us so happy.  She amazes me everyday with what she is capable of.  I am sure she will continue to amaze me. 

We are gearing up for our first long car trip - a trip to NC this weekend for a week long beach vacation.  This should be interesting as she only likes the car for 2 hours at a time. Should be fun 9 hour ride each way.

Those Summer Nights

Tuesdays in the summer mean Rec night at our lake community.  The boys love, love, love rec night.  A few of the lifeguards come down and play multiple games with the kids.  Tonight consisted of hockey, SPUD, kickball and an evening swim.  Allie and I sat on the sidelines and watched.  Allie got to explore sand for the first time.

First Steps

Allie has been showing signs early on that she would be an early walker (earlier than the boys).  The last week or so she has been standing and taking a step and falling, taking two and falling.  Last night she decided to walk across the room a few times.  I was able to capture one on camera!  I love how proud she is of herself.  She is so precious!  I can't beleive she is only 10 months old and already walking!

I can't believe this little lady is 10 months old!  Only a few short months until her first birthday party festivities!!

These pictures are getting quite challenging to take.  She doesn't sit still very long.

Allison's favorite things are: bubbles, clapping, doing Hulky (you have to see it),  loves reading books with Mimi, playing with her brothers, sitting on mommys hip, lounging with daddy, throwing things, saying mama, dada, go dog go, and blowing spit bubbles.
