Happy 1st Birthday Dean!!

Its amazing how fast your own kids grow up, you spend every day with them and they still seem to sprout before your eyes. Which makes me feel like friends kids who we don't see everyday grow so much quicker.

We had a great birthday celebration for our little friend Dean yesterday. I can't believe he turned 1 today.

We played at their clubhouse with lots of fun toys.


Did some crafts.


Had lots of fun on the parachute.



And then went back to the Grundy's house to play some more.

And eat yummy homemade pizza.

We had a fun time with Amy and Izabella on Monday. John and I went over for a play date. Amy and I can talk and talk and talk about anything, its always a pleasure. We had fun listening to John and Iz interact and play and had a yummy dinner followed by some fun Wii Fit ;)

I had mentioned to Amy that I was interested in getting hightlights in my hair and she did it right then and there :) How cool is that??

Playdate with the Grundy Boys

Last week Beth and the boys came over for a much needed play date. We haven't been able to get together in so long. It was nice to let them roam around and play while we chatted. I always feel like there just isn't enough time. We will have to do it again real soon :)

Summer Fun

This week the boys and I went up to Jessie's dad's house to visit. Oh what fun did Johnny have. I am not sure what was his favorite- Swimming, playing with the goats, feeding the horses, playing soccer with Collin and Erik, getting eggs from the chickens, playing in the sandbox, going down the slide, checking out the coy fish, hitting the ball off the T, eating ice pops with Clara, or enjoying his favorite meal of Cheeseburgers and fries.

He hasn't stopped talking about it since.

Happy 2nd Birthday Brady!

Today is Brady's 2nd birthday. We invited Brady and Julie and Jessie and Clara over for some playing and cupcakes. The kids had such a great time playing. John had been begging for cupcakes since we baked them that morning, so when he was finally able to indulge, he was happy!!

Its crazy, I remember holding Brady in the hospital, while John was scooting around on Julie's hospital bed.

Friends with benefits

These days my idea of friends with benefits, is a friend with a good pool. :)

Today was a hot one. Really hot. It was nice to spend a nice hot summer day, relaxing poolside. We had a blast at Jessie's Nanny's pool. The kids had alot of fun playing in the pool house, swimming, snacking, and munching on pizza. It was nice to get together and chat with all the ladies. Thanks for inviting us to swim Jessie.
