Double Trouble

I found a great score on a double stroller on craigslist and it was less then 2 minutes down the road. That is like unheard of for my neck of the woods. I have been looking for a double jogging stroller so that when it gets warmer I can get in some good exercise . I finally found one and was so happy that the pick up location was so close. We had a nice 56 degree day on Wednesday so I decided to take the boys for a walk in it. The both seemed to enjoy it. And it was a nice smooth ride. I am still getting the hang of pushing two of them. Shane isn't that small, so there is quite a bit of extra weight. If not for nothing else, I will definitly be working out those arm muscles :)

Does Shane seriously look 2 months old in this pictures, he is such a big boy! He looks alot like Brian in these pictures too!! And boy do his blue eyes shine through with that sunlight.

John was sporting his glasses, he loves them and is rarely outside without them these days!

A fun filled Tuesday

We had a busy Tuesday this week. We attended our first meetup mom's group activity- Laser One and then went to Jessie and Clara's for dinner.

John had a blast at Laser One. They had a nice section for kids 7 and under to play and explore. He loved the tool bench, kitchen, castle, slides and tunnels. We even enjoyed chicken fingers, tater tots and a chipwich (who doesn't love chipwiches :) )

Here are some pictures from Laser One.

Later that evening we headed over to Jessie and Clara's for a yummy dinner.

I call this "Stop in the name of Love"

"Before you break my heart"

The many faces of Shane from Tuesday. He loves to smile for momma.

Shane Well Baby (2 months)

I am not sure why I didn't post this. Maybe because my memory these days has completely left my body (and mind). I run around doing 100 different things all day long hardly accomplishing much.

Shane had his well baby last week. And for his 2 month visit he was 17lbs 3/4oz and 25.3/4 inches. He is like the size of a big 6 month old :) He is definitly bigger then John at this age (John was 16lbs 1oz and same height) at 2 months. Everything else looked great and the Dr said keep doing what you are doing. Which is always good to hear.

I guess we make some linebackers :)

Speed Test

I saw this on my friend Jen's blog , a speed test to see how fast you can type. Pretty cool. I have definitly improved over the last few years.

Here is the Speed Test if you want to take it.

I bet this is one test I can beat Brian in :) :)

Easter Festivities.....Take Two

We hope everyone enjoyed their Easter. We had a nice relaxing day. We spent the morning eating candy :) and watching John play with his new toys. Then Mimi (my mom) came over and gave the boys' their Easter baskets. Then we headed out to Brian's Aunt and Uncles house for Easter dinner. John got to play with all his extended cousins and partake in yet another Easter Egg hunt. We had a nice dinner and left shortly after because both boys were getting cranky.

Here are some (ok..more then some) pictures of our Easter Holiday.

Here are some shots of Daddy and his boys this weekend. Brian took off on Saturday so he could partake in the Easter festivities we had going on. It was nice to spend a full weekend with daddy. He has been working alot!

Easter Festivities... Take One

The Saturday before Easter we participated in two Easter Egg hunts. John has become a pro at finding those Easter Eggs. He has had alot of practice. 4 hunts total.

On Saturday morning we bundled up and headed to Memory Park in Newton for their Easter Egg hunt. Mimi joined us and Julie and Brady met us down there. There is actually a picture in the local Herald of us getting ready to start the hunt, but you can only see Me, Julie and Brady...John was cut off by another little girl standing in front of him....bummer.

Here are some pictures of our Memory Park Easter Hunt.

Then we headed home for an hour and then went up to the Sella's Annual Easter Egg Hunt in Fredon. Our friend Jessie, Clara and Shad's family (Jessie's grandparents). What an incredible Hunt they put on. It is so wonderful and we were very grateful we were able to attend. They hide over 400 eggs (real dyed ones), and each kid gets a prize (a huge easter basket filled with goodies) at the end. And there is one special "silver" egg that has a BIG prize. Daddy was able to come along with us, and Daddy and John found eggs while mommy and Shane took pictures. We saw Julie, Rob and Brady and Arin, Phil and Noah there too! It was alot of fun. Thanks for inviting us Jessie, Shad and Clara!!

A visit with the Kohlers

We had a nice visit today with Chris, Carl, Frannie and Cassidy. John, Shane and I went to visit so we could bring Cassidy her birthday gift since we missed her party due to John being sick. Here are some cute pictures from our visit.

John on the ride down. Guess it was a little sunny.

Easter Celebration with Grandma and Tom

Last night Grandma and Tom came over to see the boys and celebrate Easter because they are heading down to FLA for a little while to help Uncle Warren out and bask in the FLA sunshine (just a little jealous :) )

John adores Grandma and Tom.

Here is a smile from Shane.
