Back In Time

I had come across some video clips I have taken of the boys over the last few years and decided to group them all together in a video montage. Grab a snack and a drink and enjoy! This video is about an hour. (not in any particular order!)

Is Anyone Out There....

Let me dust this thing off..... its been over a month since I have posted an update.

Thanks to Mom for reminding me that I haven't posted since Thanksgiving :) I had meant to a few times, but the month of December just FLEW by. If I wasn't editing photo session pictures I was christmas shopping, attending a christmas function, playing, cleaning, visiting Santa, and enjoying some winter fun with the family.

Here are some highlights from our December.

The first weekend in December we went on our annual Polar Express Train Ride. The boys were both really into it this year. They do a reproduction of the movie/book the Polar Express. This year we were joined with Brady and Aunt Julie.

We also enjoyed a trip to the Crayola Factory. What great hands on fun for the kids. I think the highlight for most of them was the Canal museum upstairs where they each received their own boat and were able to lead them through the canals and learn how they hauled things back in the day.

We had fun on our Christmas Tree hunt. We did it pretty quick, which was the most enjoyable part for Brian ;) The boys led the way and stood proudly in front of our new tree before Daddy chopped it. Then they both helped Mommy decorate it the next day.

John was Star of the Week in his class. Each week one kid is showcased and able to bring in their favorite things and a few minutes a day its all about them. What four year old doesn't enjoy talking all about themselves :)

We also attended John's Annual Christmas Show hosted by his School. It's always an over the top production. Each class sings a holiday song and its very cute to watch. This year we were joined with Mimi, Pop Pop and Shari, so that was a nice treat. John's class sang "We are Santas Elves"

We don't typically take the kids to the annual "Christmas with Santa" Pictures. And we have been in a few places where Santa has been and John wanted NOTHING to do with it. So while at our MOMs club Holiday Party both boys stayed nicely for pictures. John was still a little timied, but did it anyway and Shane jumped right up on Santa's lap... with this huge smile. It was adorable.

Sometime in the begining of Decemenber I took the boys pictures for our annual family Christmas Card. It was a little less painful then I was expecting, which is always a nice surprise.

Christmas Eve we spent at Ginny's house with Opa, Ginny, Aunt Jessica, Uncle Anthony, Aunt Lauren, Uncle Parker, Keira and Lia. The kids had a blast opening presents and getting a feel of what the next day would be like. Shane wanted more and more to open. Not really grasping the concept. It was cute watching them interact and play with their new toys.

Christmas day was great. The boys opened their gifts and it was so nice to sit back and just watch them in all their excitement. We were joined by Mimi and Pop Pop and Shari who spoil both boys beyond belief. We had a great holiday and after enjoying some new toy play we headed to Uncle Jim and Aunt Maura's in Denville for Christmas dinner.

Well that's it, in a BIG nutshell ;) Happy 2011
